Smoked Brisket & Bacon Chili
Rich’s SMOKED BRISKET & BACON CHILI–YUMMY!!!!
Makes 1 gallon
This is a deep savory, smoky, DELICIOUS Chili
What you will need:
1–2.5oz Pkg EZ Mixes Chili Seasoning
1 lb Smoked Brisket (CHOPPED)
1 lb 90/10 Ground Beef
12oz Bacon (Cooked & chopped up)
1/2 cup water
12oz BBQ Sauce (your favorite)
2-14.5oz Cans Petite Diced Tomatoes
2-15oz Cans Ranch Style Beans
1/2 cup Chopped Onion
1.) In skillet, cook bacon until done, remove leaving the grease. Add onions and saute’ for about 3 minutes, add ground beef and cook until all bacon grease is absorbed. Add water and cook until approx 90% done. Add Package of EZ Mixes Chili Seasoning and cook until meat is done.
2.) Add BBQ Sauce and mix in well. Add Chopped Brisket, Tomatoes, Beans, Bacon (Chopped Up) and bring up to temp stirring regularly.
3.) Turn heat down and simmer for 30 minutes to 1 hours stirring regularly.
For heat–add jalapenos!
